Lorraine Aycock
Community Relations Manager for Long Island, Bank of America
 

Lorraine Aycock joined The Early Years Institute Board of Directors in March 2009.
 
In her role with Bank of America, Lorraine supports the Bank’s efforts to align and deliver marketing and charitable resources to meet constituent and community needs across Long Island. While working closely with the Long Island Market President, she leads the planning and execution of sponsorship, philanthropic, community and business development initiatives locally. 
 
Lorraine was formerly a Senior Credit Products Underwriter in the Healthcare and Institutions Group at Bank of America where she was responsible for underwriting, structuring and documenting client transactions for institutions with revenues totaling up to $2 billion specializing in healthcare, education and non-profit. Prior to joining the Bank in 2000, Lorraine was Assistant Certification Officer in the School of Education and Allied Human Services at Hofstra University where she gathered and interpreted statistical data used to achieve national and state accreditations; verified recommendations required for State certifications of educational personnel both in New York and agencies of other states; developed and presented informational seminars and co-authored an advisement manual, which received national award recognition.
 
In addition to being involved in community service through her local church, Lorraine is an active participant in programs serving K-12 students in local school districts and has volunteered in Operation Hope’s Banking on Our Future program, designed to provide financial literacy education to youth ages 9-18 at no cost to school districts, with a focus on urban, under-served communities. She serves on the Adelphi University President’s Advisory Council and the boards of March of Dimes, Project GRAD Long Island, and The Right Start Foundation.
 
Lorraine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and a Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from Hofstra University. A mother of two, she resides on Long Island with her family.
