Massapequa, N.Y. has been a breeding ground for celebrities. Jerry Seinfeld, Alec Baldwin, Brian Setzer, Peggy Noonan, Steve Guttenberg, and Marvin Hamlisch are among many who were raised or who lived there. While growing up in Massapequa Park, Jeff Morosoff thought about celebrity, too.  But his career has been more local; Jeff has been a Long Island radio broadcaster, served two town supervisors and three college presidents, and teaches public relations courses at Hofstra University.

Jeff oversees public and media relations as well as Internet and other outreach at EYI. He previously served as Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Nassau Community College, and was Director of Alumni and Government Relations and later Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations for New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). Earlier, he held communications and p.r. positions at Cablevision, the Long Island Association and the Town of Babylon. Additionally, he ran political campaigns and provided communications services for several clients as a consultant.

Ever since sitting in a Model T for hours at age 8, Jeff's been a classic car fan who also lists movies, clocks, old radios, and everything Beatles among his hobbies. He holds a bachelor of fine arts and a master’s degree in communication arts from NYIT, served as president of the Public Relations Professionals of Long Island, and won the International Association of Business Communicators' "Achievement in Communications" award in 2000.

Jeff is the father of four grown children, none who live in Massapequa or are celebrities--yet. But one son is a budding entrepreneur and another son is in high school, and his daughters seem to be following in his footsteps: his oldest girl is a teacher and her sister is at college – preparing for a career in public relations.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
